We see on the Cross that though He was suffering terribly, Jesus took the time to take care of His mother. He asked one of his disciples named John to take care of Mary, which John did for the rest of her life. Honoring His mother on the Cross wasn’t convenient for Christ but He made the point to care for His mother even when it wasn’t convenient. Take time not only on the second Sunday of May to honor your mom, but take time as well throughout the year to show your mom how much you care-- even when it is not convenient.

 

This month we will also be honoring our graduates. Join me in a time of special recognition on Sunday, May 23^rd during the morning worship service. Pray for our graduates as they begin this exciting new phase of their lives.

 

On April 25^th, the Long Range Planning Team passed out surveys to all church members 16 yrs. old and older. Surveys were mailed to those members not present. Your input on these surveys is greatly needed and will be very much appreciated. If you did not receive a survey please let me know and I will get you one ASAP.

 

Mark Sunday night June 6^th on your calendar. That is when we will be offering our next Meadowbrook 101 class and Meadowbrook 202 as well. You won’t want to miss out on this special time of information and spiritual growth.
