I would like to take a moment to tell everyone a little about some of the upcoming youth events:
First - Girls' Bible Study- a time of sharing, prayer, and Bible study designed for Jr. High, High School, and even college aged girls. Girls' Bible Study is a time to let your hair down and just be real with God and encourage each other.
Second - World Changers, a week-long mission project where we get to be the hands and feet of Christ by doing repairs on people's homes. We get to roof for Jesus, paint, or put siding on a home, or build a wheelchair ramp and tell others about how Jesus has changed our lives and that He can change their life as well. In 2010, we will be going to Birmingham, AL - July 4-10.
Let me encourage you to pray for each of these opportunities and for our youth group ...

“Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong. We are weak but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me- - the Bible tells me so.”
As I remember the words to that Sunday School song that we sang as little children I am reminded of the basic human need to be loved. I also see a picture of a cross and of a Savior named Jesus hanging on it and saying “Father forgive them”. Jesus loved us enough to die in our place so that we could have life forever with Him. He cared more for us than for His own image and body. He cared enough to die. He cared enough to give all of Himself to us so that we might be able to live. He gave us everything.
How will we show Him how much we love Him?
“I love Jesus this I know for with my life I will show. I will be his hands and feet. I will love whomever I meet. Yes, I love Jesus! Yes, I love Jesus! With my life I will let known that I love Jesus because He first loved Me.”
Show Jesus how much you love Him, by loving others. Let me challenge you to be His hands and feet this year and always.
